Our safety promise
Safety isn't a feature we bolt on. It's the first thing on the menu.
How we protect you
- Everyone completes ID and selfie liveness checks. 18+ only. We store the result, never your ID images.
- Dates only happen at public partner restaurants — never private addresses.
- The venue is revealed 24 hours before, and you can share your plans with a trusted contact in one tap.
- Group chats show first names only. Phone numbers and links are blocked.
- Block and Report on every profile, Pair and chat. Blocks are two-way and permanent.
Meeting tips
- Tell a friend where you're going and when you expect to be home.
- Arrange your own travel to and from the venue.
- Keep an eye on your drink and pace yourself.
- Trust your gut. You can leave at any time — no explanation needed.
- Ask for Angela: many UK venues will discreetly help if you feel unsafe.
